School Board Election – April 1, 2025

Washington Community High School will have four (4) of their school board seats to be filled at the April 1, 2025 election. Candidates elected will fill four (4) four-year terms expiring in April 2029.

Candidates for the office of school board can begin to circulate nominating petitions for signatures beginning August 20, 2024. The period for filing nominating papers runs from November 12 through November 18, 2024. Candidates for school board should file all required paperwork with the county clerk. The School Board Petition Packet is available on the Tazewell County Clerk’s website. 

Candidates may also want to consult the “2025 Candidate’s Guide,” which can be downloaded from the Tazewell County Clerk’s website, or contact the county clerk or board of election commissioners regarding the requirements of filing.
