We are saddened to share that Gloria McNett, a member of the WCHS #308 Board of Education, passed away recently. Gloria taught and tutored for over 45 years in several surrounding area schools from elementary to college. She has been on Washington School Boards for over 31 years, with 21 of those years as a WCHS board member. She was an amazing supporter of academics, fine arts, athletics, and extra-curricular. She was instrumental in several building additions and projects that have upgraded the WCHS campus. Gloria was a true champion for students and teachers and she is missed deeply. Her life and legacy will be celebrated this Saturday.
