WCHS participated in the Mid-Central Region of The Scholastic Art Show in Springfield. This was a juried and judged show. WCHS student Audry Hart received a Best in Show (American Vision's Award) for her "Blue Whale Teapot". WCHS students also received 9 Gold Keys, 8 Silver Keys, and 20 Honorable Mention awards. Gold Key recipients will have digital images of their work sent to New York City to be juried for the National Scholastics Art Show in March and will attend an honors art making day in February. Students will be attending an awards ceremony in Springfield on February 2 and their work will be on display at the Springfield Art Association from 2/2 - 2/24. Congratulations to everyone!
